The new villain didn't grab me but learning about Jin's father, and past revealed a lot about Jin himself and the type of person he would have been raised to be under his fathers' reign. Although the additional content doesn't do anything groundbreaking - it's just more Ghost of Tsushima - that's perfectly okay in this scenario. It quickly beckons you back into the driver's seat of Jin Sakai. Ghost of Tsushima - Iki Island is a solid injection of content into a game that's very comfortable to pick up and play. All up, it took me nearly twelve hours to beat all the games missions and 100% complete the Iki Island map. If you liked the legends in the main game, there's two more to follow through in the Iki Island that'll award you with new armour to wear, and there's, of course, a handful of optional quests and activities to be completed. Instead of just wolves to pet, there's deer, cat and other animals. It's sizeable, with plenty to find and do, but it keeps the "small island" feel at all times. The Iki Island DLC takes place over a map that's probably around half the size of the Act 1 area of the main. This makes you have to seek them out at the back of a battle or pull out your bow to disperse them quickly. Ive play most of AC games but non of them felt the same. I dont have a Playstation but wondering if there where games like that on Xbox. Still, a new enemy typed introduced called 'The Shaman' plays a tune that'll excite all other enemies and cause them to dodge well or throw never-ending uncounterable strikes. I havent play Ghost of Tsushima but I really enjoy those style of like Japanese samurai type games. I say almost because, of course, there are lots to enjoy about the combat in Ghost of Tsushima. Nothing drastically changes with the Iki Island DLC. In that case, I'd almost prefer that game. Suppose there was a version of this game without any combat where I could play a travelling scholar and was tasked with simply enjoying and capturing moments of Iki Island of Tsushima's landscape and animals. Ghost of Tsushima was a beautiful game on PS4, and with the PS5 version, you have some slight improvements that still make it one of the best looking games you can play right now. Choose the path of the samurai and fight face-to-face with honor, or go. Ghost of Tsushima is a first-party Sony game, making it very unlikely that it’ll ever release on Xbox.Much like the base game, exploration is the most exciting aspect of Iki Island. From the windy beaches with battling ships in the distances to the florescent forests and the almost Arthurian battle sites, I was again stopping to use the games photo mode a lot more than I have in any other game. In Ghost of Tsushima, you play as Jin Sakai, a samurai struggling to defeat the Mongol occupation of his island, Tsushima. No, Ghost of Tsushima is not scheduled to release for Xbox One.Is there a Ghost of Tsushima Xbox One release date?
The Ghost of Tsushima release date is July 17, and there are multiple different versions available.
If you do have a PS4 to play on, there’s still time to get your pre-order in ahead of launch. There’s nothing specific to suggest this at the time of writing, though with Horizon Zero Dawn and Death Stranding PC-bound Sony is at least showing willing.
While it doesn’t look great for Xbox, Ghost of Tsushima could get an eventual PC launch.
It’d be like Microsoft releasing the upcoming Halo Infinite (an Xbox One and Xbox Series X exclusive) on PlayStation. The game is definitively a PS4 exclusiveat preset with it launching so close to the end of the generation, there could, however, be potential for a PS5 version.
The developer falls under the new PlayStation Studios umbrella and is unlikely ever to release Ghost of Tsushima for an Xbox console.Ī first-party PlayStation exclusive making the jump to Xbox would be unprecedented, so the odds of a Ghost of Tsushima Xbox One port are, unfortunately, slim to none. The game is being developed by Sucker Punch Productions, which is owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment. With no plans for a port in place, there is no Ghost of Tsushima Xbox One release date. Ghost of Tsushima is not coming to Xbox One.
